This is a custom dynatrac free-spin heavy-duty hub conversion kit for 2005-2014 ford f-250 and f-350 super duty axles. Does anyone know what could cause this? If I don't find out by monday I am going to call and talk to Robert at Dynatrac, he's been helpful so far. The dynatrac free-spin heavy-duty hub conversion kit for 1999-2004 ford f-250 and f-350 super duty trucks is designed to replace the factory unit bearings. I drove around a few miles in 2wd and 4x4 with no problems, until I came back and was backing into a parking spot and turning hard, and both hubs popped out, the internal snap rings let loose and seperated. After ordering two new internal snap rings (which were sent for free) from Warn, I put everything back together after bending the tabs to the six point spanner back and out of the way. At first I couldn't get the large snap ring to hold fit on the axle and clear the splines of the hub, and then after fixing that (with my friend the dremel)I put the outer locking part of the hubs on and tightened the bolts and everything worked, but when I went to spin the one tire the inner snap ring that held the inner part of the warn hub body (the brass plate and internal spline) would get caught on the 6 point spanner that held the bearing nuts from comming loose. I went ahead and bought a dynatrac free spin kit for my truck and had no problems until I went to put the warn hubs on. Alright, I've never posted here before but I've been reading for over a year since I got my truck.
